Presentations:
1. Oracle EBS Reporting on Snowflake, quick and easy!
By Andrew Preston
Thousands of organizations are attracted to the concept of moving Analytic workloads to a Cloud Database (Think Snowflake). This talk will demonstrate a cost-effective and time-sensitive method of moving these workloads to the cloud by leveraging a modern tool stack, a data replicator for CDC, and an ELT framework that utilizes reusable transformation templates. This talk will provide real-world examples of each of these parts of the process.
2. EBS Application Technology and OCI – What’s New in 12.2.8 – 12.2.10+
By Susan Behn
What is new in the EBS foundational tools commonly referred to as Foundation (FND), Application Object Library (AOL), or Application Technology Group (ATG) in 12.2.8 – 12.2.10+? We will cover these topics and provide detailed information on new features in the user interface, flexfield functionality, concurrent manager functionality, security, workflow, OCI and many others. Learn about what is going to impact ALL the users upon upgrade.
3. OAF Personalizations 2021 in E-Business Suite – New Advanced Examples
By Susan Behn
Have you ever wanted to add an LOV to an OAF page without using jDeveloper? This and many other examples in this presentation can be easily replicated to streamline the user experience. The primary purpose of this presentation is to promote personalization over customization or extension. Oracle has continued to improve the personalization functionality especially for OA Framework. However, while Oracle provides some documentation on these new features, this presentation provides some real world examples with detail step by step instructions specifically for the E-Business Suite using the Vision database.
